The FNSDS 2009 Conference

"Building Sustainable First Nation Communities Conference " was presented Feb 2nd & 3rd 2009 and was attended by over 250 partcipants comprised of BC First Nations Band Social Development Workers, Band Administrators and representatives from First Nations organizations, provincial and federal governments. 

The theme of the conference focussed on how to empower BC First Nations' ability to develop sustainable solutions as an alternative to dependence on Income Assistance.
